National Basketball Association

National Basketball Association team colors

All 4 teams currently in the dataset, with 8 distinct colour values between them. Founded 1946; the sport is basketball.

National Basketball Association uniforms changed character when the league moved away from fixed home-white and away-colour rules, allowing teams to field several named uniform editions in a season. That makes a single flat team palette less useful here than in any other league, because the colours a team actually wears vary from night to night.
