About the Cleveland Browns palette

The Cleveland Browns were founded in 1946 and compete in the American Football Conference of the National Football League. Their primary colour, Brown #311D00, is a very dark, desaturated yellow.

The National Football League divides its thirty-two teams between two conferences, and uniform colour is regulated more tightly here than in any other major league: a team must register its colours with the league, and opposing teams are required to wear contrasting jerseys so that broadcast audiences can tell them apart.

Within the Northern Division the Browns face Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers. Those are the matchups where two palettes appear in one frame, so they are the pairings most worth checking for a clash.
